Arriving in Canada alone at 21 with only a few belongings, Brian experienced firsthand the need for a welcoming space. Caring mentors helped him navigate a new culture and achieve success. This is the essence of The Dam Drop-in Center —providing a sense of belonging and guidance to young people so they can thrive in their new home.
Roxana’s Journey
Roxana’s family of five relied on food banks when they first arrived in Canada. She understands the heartbreaking choice between paying bills and buying groceries.
